Following his debut album It’ll Be Alright, Wilson returns with his latest single Fool Moon—a stirring duet with award-winning artist Ella Hooper.
Originally recorded as a demo in early 2023, the track took on a life of its own and ultimately became the master recording. At its core, Fool Moon tells the story of two lovers at a crossroads, uncertain of their future and whether forgiveness can mend the fractures between them. With heartbreak on the line, they must decide—fight to stay together or let go of the one who hurt them.
“The wunderkind himself, Patrick Wilson, asked me to sing on this track, and after listening, it was a no-brainer,” says Hooper. “It’s a lilting, sweet-and-salty tune with—dare I say—a slightly Caribbean feel?! And it has one of the best ‘ouchie-heart-sting’y’ lines I’ve heard in a long time.”
