The Owen Guns Drop Their New Single "Worst Wishes" – A Punk Rock Grenade!
The Owen Guns are back, and they’re louder, snarkier, and more unapologetic than ever with their brand-new single "Worst Wishes" – officially out on all streaming platforms as of March 7!
Recorded at Jay Whalley’s Pet Food Factory Studio, "Worst Wishes" is a happy little number about hoping the absolute worst for the people you can’t stand. It’s the first taste of their upcoming album, "Songs About F@*#ing Idiots", which is set to drop mid-year, thanks to Outtaspace Presents and Booker Bastard. Buckle up – it’s gonna be a cracker.
Unwilling to conform to the watered-down version of punk that clogs up modern playlists, The Owen Guns hold the line as true gatekeepers of raw, no-BS punk rock. In a world where the Sex Pistols can sell out stadiums without their original frontman, it’s clear that audiences are desperate for the real, unfiltered sound of angst-driven rock – and these guys deliver.
"Worst Wishes" is short, sharp, and absolutely savage – a 1-minute-19-second punk blast with all the tongue-in-cheek taunting we’ve come to expect from The Owen Guns. It’s the kind of song you scream out of a moving car past your ex’s house, a corrupt politician’s office, or anyone else who deserves it.
This is punk rock without the fluff. No overblown theatrics, no bloated runtime – just pure, cynical brilliance. And trust us, you’ll be hitting repeat, because one play just isn’t enough.
