Three chaps from Western Sydney making Alternative Rock, among other things.
There is so much to learn about this band, so much to mine from a live experience and future releases… seems like a good place to start to get the least favourable elements out of the way.
Worms suffers the single greatest threat to any DIY release of an earnest artist. It simply doesn’t do the song justice. Jamie Xerri (singer/guitarist) has produced this in a home studio; and it sounds like it.
The dynamics and sophistication of this band will likely be lost to an audience who’ve moved on OR died of natural causes, from the likes of Primus, The Melvins and the type of bands Cobain may have heard, reduced, homogenized and made more palatable for a general population of idiots. Think Dwarves/Lubricated Goat but overlay the intelligence of Big Heavy Stuff.
